Biography

Sophy Holland is a British Photographer and Director in NYC with over 12 years of experience in the fashion, advertising and film industry. 

A Central St Martins graduate, Holland started her career in advertising as an Art Director, working on TV and print campaigns and editorial series, worldwide.

She made her directoral debut directing a short film ‘Brace’ which was shown in over 50 global film festivals, tackling the subject of gang violence against gay and trans youth in London.

She also directed a full-length documentary, ‘Illustrated Man’ ; a social commentary on the history of the tattooed man in the last 100 years, and most recently

‘Unraveling the Pink Ribbon’ - a documentary on the history of the pink ribbon and the work of BCRF and BCA campaign, fighting against breast cancer.

Holland continues to shoot a mix of entertainment key art, advertising campaigns and humanitarian-oriented films.
